BrightStar™ – Octagonal
The Octagonal burner measures 60 x 60cms Usually installed into an octagonal firepit.
BrightStar™ – Rectangular
The Rectangular burner measures 100 x 30cms (Ok, not strictly a star, but we couldn’t think of a better name…)
Two different gas types
Natural (Mains) Gas
You will need an adequate gas supply, to cope with our 18kw burner.
LPG Propane Gas
We recommend Propane LPG (Orange Bottle) Minimum bottle size 19kg
What’s the difference?
Heat Output – The Mains gas and LPG gas burners provide the same amount of heat. (18kw).
Installation – Mains gas needs a pipe run back to the meter, bottled gas pipework can be a lot shorter.
Convenience – Mains gas, no bottles to run out in the middle of your party.
Running cost – Bottled gas is more expensive than mains gas. (Like bottled water is more expensive than tap water)
We are often asked about running costs and our answer is always the same…
“By the time you have half a dozen friends sat around your firepit, until way after midnight, drinking YOUR wine and drinking YOUR beer. It will cost you a LOT more in alcohol, than it will in Gas.”
Note: Our burners are configured for the specific gas, and are not interchangeable.
Standard Connection Length
This is the length of the pipework connecting the burner to its control box. Although these connections are flexible, meaning the control box can be positioned easily in different sized pits, there is a maximum limit.
For all standard BrightStar burners, the distance from the centre of the burner, to the front face of the control box (Dimension A) measures 575mm This is ideal for firepits up to 1.2mtrs outside dimension. (Assuming the control box is recessed back into the brickwork slightly)
Longer Connection Length – Additional cost £48
We also offer much longer connections if required. This enables the control box to be positions further away from the burner. With these connections, (Dimension A) measures 1.2mtrs
There is an additional cost for these connections.
You will be able to select optional longer connections on the ‘Buy now’ screen.
